Resectoscope
This device is used to cut lesions out of the uterus. Devlin worked with a surgeon to develop an improved resectoscope that could also be used to examine the uterus, as well as remove cut tissue. Because it does the job of two instruments, there is no need to deflate the uterus of fluid (necessary for the procedure) and reinflate with a different instrument. This would result in a much faster procedure that uses substantially less fluid.
