The company JDSU became VIAVI, where they continued the MicroNIR brand with a series of accessories that could adapt the miniature spectrometer to a number of uses. A turntable rotates a petrie dish as the spectrometer views from below. Other accessories include a handheld sensor for the field with various attachments.
